PrivascanTurn images into a PDF
Choose PNG or JPEG files, set the page size and margin, and get one PDF. The order of the pages is the order you picked the files in.
Before you upload anything — you will not have to
- Which formats are accepted?
- PNG and JPEG. The file is checked by its actual first bytes rather than its name, so a .png that is really something else is refused with a sentence saying so.
- Fit to image, A4 or Letter?
- Fit to image gives every page the exact proportions of its picture — best for screenshots. A4 or Letter centres each image on a standard page, which is what you want if the result will be printed.
- Will the text in my photos be searchable?
- No. This places pictures on pages; it does not read them. Text recognition needs OCR, which the Privascan iPhone app does on the device.
